Designed by renowned architect, Frank McCall, and reflecting his classic Southern style, this home just underwent a renovation that was completed at the end of 2025. The house blends a classic southern architecture, with vibrant coastal updates and style. The spacious backyard has a large pool, ideal for a group to enjoy in the privacy of their own home.
This cottage is a quintessential choice for a multi-generation family vacation, 4 couples, or two families with their children, due to the layout and set up of the bedrooms. This house has 3 similar master suites that makes it a great house for couples that want their own space, each with a king bed and en-suite bathroom. The 4th bedroom has a king bed, with the bathroom immediately across the hallway. If you happen to be attending a wedding or event at Ocean Forest, or golfing there, this house is very ideal due to its proximity to the gates of Ocean Forest (less than 4 short blocks away.) This rental is made for making Sea Island memories that last a lifetime.
This home opens up into the warm foyer, with a staircase to the right, living space to the left, and the master bedroom off to the right. Immediately to the left is the more formal living room, although it has a cozy, elevated coastal style that is very inviting for a group to socialize. The warm natural light, velvet sofas, boucle chairs, and a smart TV above the fireplace make this a great space to gather as a group, or enjoy cocktails and conversation in the evening. The living room opens up into the dining room, which features a beautiful wood dining table set for 6 people, but can accommodate, and has the chairs for, 8 people. The green grasscloth wallpaper, shell chandelier and gorgeous rug make this an elegant space for an elevated meal or special celebration if you have one during your stay.
The dining room is adjacent to the recently renovated kitchen, which is filled with natural light, has marble counter tops, marble floors, and a beautiful marble tiled backsplash. The kitchen features stainless steel appliances, an under the counter ice maker, wine cooler, bar area and coffee bar set up. The kitchen is full stocked with everything you could need to cook during your stay, or to treat yourself to a private chef to truly enjoy a wonderful night in! The eat-in kitchen has a beautiful dining table set for 4 people. The laundry area is just off the kitchen in a closet, with a washer and dryer for guests to use during their stay.
On the opposite end of the kitchen is the den, which has lots of natural light and a beautiful view of the oak trees in the backyard. This is the main gathering space of the home, featuring a Smart TV and a card table set for 4 people. This warm room has a comfortable, coastal style featuring an oversized sectional, and two oversized furniture chairs and vaulted ceilings.
There are two bedrooms on the first floor. The first is the primary bedroom, to the right of the main foyer. This spacious bedroom features various shades of blues and greens, creating a calm room, filled with natural light. The primary bedroom has a king bed, smart TV over the fireplace, a very cozy rug and an oversized furniture chair and ottoman. The bathrooms is en-suite with an oversized vanity outside of the shower area that features a gorgeous, green palm print wallpaper. The bathroom has a white tile, combination shower-tub. There is a walk-in closet with plenty of space, and an additional smaller closet off to the left. The second downstairs bedroom is down the hallway that is off of the kitchen. This bedroom features various shades of blues and natural accents like rattan, grasscloth and other coastal accents. This bedroom has a king bed, Smart TV, and a bathroom just across the hallway. This blue bathroom is immediately across from the bedroom and features. The first flour is rounded out by the charming guest bathroom under the stairs, which features a vibrant palm leaf wall paper and coastal accents.
The stairs lead to a landing with a bedroom on both the right and the left. The bedroom on the right is filled with green and purple accents, built in book shelves, a king bed, cozy rug, and plenty of storage space. This bedroom has a large closet, in addition to an ensuite bathroom with a spacious vanity that is outside of the shower area, and a combination shower-tub. The fourth bedroom has a blush pink and white throughout, with a beautiful mural on the back wall. This bedroom has a king bed, cozy love seat, perfect for a reading nook and lots of natural light. There is a walk-in closet, and an en-suite, blush-colored bathroom with an oversized vanity outside of the shower area and a combination shower-tub. This walk-in closet is especially big and easily accommodate a pack-n-play or crib for a baby to sleep in. The second floor is rounded out with a precious, small patio off the landing, that visually frames the front of the house.
One of the highlights of this property is the large pool and outdoor living space, which is the perfect place to spend time with your friends or family during your stay. The backyard and pool are truly a dreamy and idyllic setting, framed by the several hundred-year-old oak trees, draped in Spanish moss, along with the Palm trees and local landscaping that reminds you to kick back and enjoy the relaxation that island life provides. The outdoor furniture has been updated since the photos were taken and features chaise lounges, and a dining table and chairs. It is a wonderful place to dine outside.
This house has plenty of onsite parking in the semi-circle gravel driveway in front of the home, and on the gravel side street driveway, leading to the owner’s private garage. Located close to the 36th street beach access, this house is just a short 4 block walk to Sea Island’s pristine private beaches. Beach towels are provided. Rental recommendations can be made for bikes, electric Mokes, golf carts, and more. While the house is close to the beach, the privacy and serene nature of the home and pool make it ideal for vacation either at the beach or at home!

Option to Purchase Sea Island Temporary Membership Cards:
The homeowner has a Sea Island Membership, thus Temporary Membership Cards can be arranged and purchased for renters, which grants them access to all Sea Island Amenities and gives them the ability to book activities, dining, spa, golf, etc with Sea Island. This must be done prior to arrival and in advance of your stay. If the guest chooses to purchase temporary membership cards, the guest is charged the fees, as shown below:
Adults (26+): $175 per adult, per day
Children Under 26: $60 per child per day. Children are considered under 26 years old, not married, immediate children. (2 free children’s cards are provided per family, with the purchase of at least 1 adult card, per family that day.)
Children Under 7: are free (if an adult has purchased a card) and cannot have their own card. Children can receive their own card once they turn 7.
Guests can pick and choose who in the group gets cards, and on what days. **Guests are required to purchase cards for consecutive days, no skipping dates in between (ie has to be the 6th - 8th, not the 6th and 8th.)** One person can book up to two tee times and one dining reservation for the same day with one card. Please reach out if you have questions or want more information on how temp member cards work.
Example: A Family of 4 with 2 adults and 2 children under 26 will be charged the following on a daily basis for the days that they opt to purchase temp member cards: $175 per adult, per day and nothing for their 2 children, so their total would be $350 per day. If a family has 3 children under 26, that are 5, 7 and 9, the 5 year old would not need a card.. Then the 7 and 9 year old would be covered by the parents’ cards. This would be a total of $350 per day to have temporary membership cards for everyone. Children under 7 are free and cannot have their own card until they turn 7.
